Plans, drawings and material submitted to the local authority are protected by the Copyright Acts 1988 Act (section 47). You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with the approved plans. Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner, (the applicant/ agent/ architect). You may make copies of the decision notice provided the copies are not altered.
With regard to Ordnance Survey mapping or any mapping created from Ordnance Survey material, you are reminded that this is also subject to Crown Copyright. You may view or download this for private and non-commercial purposes only. Such mapping may not be further sub-licensed, sold, demonstrated, lent or otherwise transferred or exploited without the prior written permission of Ordnance Survey.
Personal Data
In accordance with national legislation and guidance, names and addresses of applicants, and those making comments, and representations on
planning applications, will appear on our website. We collect this information as part of our statutory requirement to determine planning
applications. Representations submitted will be handled and made publically available in accordance with the General Data Protection
Regulations (2018) and the Local Government Access to Information Act (1985). Strategic Planning's
Privacy Statement provides more information on how we
manage personal data alongside the Corporate Privacy Statement. Representations
will be published on the planning application website pages during the application's determination period and will be considered when coming
to a decision. Representations will be removed once the application has been determined. They will only be published again following
determination in the event that a planning appeal is submitted within 6 months of the decision. Following determination, electronic and paper
file copy of representations will be kept at the Council for 7 years following the applications determination in line with our file retention
policy.
Please note: We cannot accept anonymous or private / confidential comments and a name and a full postal address must be provided in all cases.
